This year, on 7th October INNOSKART ICT Cluster had a chance again to host 3 students from local secondary school as a part of “Smart Future For Girls” program.
This special „shadowing” program gives a colourful opportunity to the girls to see in practice how interesting and important the innovation and IT supported solutions in our everyday life. The girls spent the day together with the cluster manager and became familiar with the networking activities among the IT companies. They also got some details of everyday duties of an IT company by visiting Seacon Europe Ltd. where they met IT specialists on programming and designing. The students had a study visit to Ablakszerker Ltd., where they could see the IT controlled manufacturing processes and also experienced the important role of innovations in their product developments: in the show room they could try different remote controlled front doors by fingerprints, by smart phones and by immobiliser keys. The girls are from Comenius secondary school specialised in English – so they also had a chance to show their English skills: during the day they met the international trainees from Polish University of Dabrowa Gornicza, who familiarized them with a purpose of clustering and the common strategy of the companies in internationalisation. All of the INNOSKART team enjoyed being part of this shadowing program and is looking forward to meeting new promising future IT specialists again.
